KERKYTHEA TUTORIAL PART 2: SOFT SHADOWS

Just a quick tutorial looking at the shadow settings of Kerkythea. While adding soft shadows really increases the rendering time, the extra realism that is achieved seems worth it. The video also describes a quick way to change the lighting to an overcast day. I use this setting often when creating diagrams or just to change things up a little.

    Hi There Alex,

really appreciate you sharing your work. Its Great to watch your tutorials and see what can be achieved with time. I am new to kerkythea and was wondering if you could perharps let us know a guide to realistic materials? should they be on the sketchup model or imported to kerkythea? I love the concrete in this one. I am always getting a tiling effect

    Hi Alex,

Spectacular work on the site, coming into my own final year in undergrad school and wondering about the textures that you use like Nick was saying above. Where do you get them or could you give a quick tutorial how to avoid some of the blunders of the tiling effect and some awful textures being used? would be much appreciated. Also would be great if i could ask you some other questions.
